San Pancho,
with kasturbai & lindsey
a week where nature becomes the teacher and connection becomes the practice
Reciprocity
This retreat was created with the intention of giving and receiving — with the land, the community, and each other.
Throughout the week, reciprocity becomes something we live through presence, practice, community, and care for ourselves and the land.
Supporting the Local Community
Our meals are prepared by a local chef using regional ingredients, directly supporting the residents and farmers around San Pancho. Catered to plant eaters with animal protein as an option.
Creating With Intention
We’ll craft our own frame drums to take home with a local artisan and honor them in a traditional temazcal — an ancient practice of purification and renewal.
Contributing to the Turtle Sanctuary
A portion of each retreat payment goes to the long-standing sea turtle rescue. We’ll learn from their work, offer support, and witness the sunset release of baby turtles.
Giving Back to the Land
We’ll plant native species at the eco-lodge, offering something living and lasting to the place that holds us.
Honoring the medicine of the land
We will also share in a cannabis ceremony using sun-grown, living-soil flower from a small, family-owned grower. No salts, no chemicals — just connoisseur-quality medicine raised with intention.
receiving healing hands
Touch becomes its own form of offering. The massages you’ll receive are given by local healers whose hands carry the stories of this land. By supporting their work, we weave reciprocity into the body—giving back to the community while receiving their medicine in return.
Reciprocity is the thread of this retreat — a way of honoring the land, the people, and community.

Meet your guides
Kasturbai and Lindsey met at Tailwind Lodge, the same place they now return to guide this retreat. After taking each other’s classes, they recognized a shared language of breath, movement, and intentional teaching.
What united them even more was their love for honoring the land and Native culture, choosing genuine connection over the touristed path. Together, they weave their practices with the spirit of this place, offering a grounded week of reciprocity through breath and movement in Mexico.
-
Kasturbai teaches movement through strategic mobility, bodyweight training, and intuitive sequencing. Her classes blend yoga, PNF stretching, and nervous system awareness, encouraging students to explore their edges with curiosity.
She began her practice in 2011 with Bikram and later trained with Authentic Movements, alongside handstand, contortion, and mobility intensives. During the retreat, she’ll lead backbend and inversion workshops and capture moments through her photography.
Her intention is simple:
to guide you into movement that feels intelligent, intuitive, and fully your own.
-
Lindsey guides breath as a living practice — a way to soften the nervous system, create inner space, and return to presence. Her work blends pranayama, somatic awareness, and grounded, intuitive teaching rooted in the belief that conscious breathing brings clarity and steadiness.
Teaching since 2013, she trained at Kripalu and later earned certifications in pre/postnatal yoga, vinyasa, meditation, and Awakened Breathwork. During the retreat, Lindsey will lead breathwork journeys, gentle yoga, and integration practices to support regulation and embodiment.
Her intention is simple:
to help you breathe in a way that nourishes your whole being.

Every dinner is a plant-based, anti-inflammatory meal made with seasonal vegetables, fresh herbs, and vibrant flavor.

Tailwind jungle Lodge in San Pancho
You’ll arrive at the Puerto Vallarta International Airport, where the air already feels like an invitation. From there, we travel about an hour north to San Pancho — a vibrant, coastal town held by jungle, ocean, and community. Tailwind Lodge sits just beyond the heart of town, tucked into nature where the land gets quiet again. Below is a small look into San Pancho, and the eco-lodge that will hold us for the week.
